HOW PROSHOTS WORKS |
|
ProShots software allows you to view, crop and order images from your computer. Here's how. First, you send your undeveloped film to True Color. After processing the film and printing proofs, we scan the film and send the images back to you either on a CD or via the Internet. Your film stays at True Color waiting for your reorder. Using the ProShots software, you can show clients the images, choose the images they wish to order from, crop the images on your computer, and create the album layout. Next, send the order back to True Color, either on a disk or over the Internet, where we print it using the latest digital technology. |

| ProShots offers opportunities to enhance studio efficiency and an alternative or supplement to traditional sales methods. Since all cropping and ordering is done on-screen there is normally a tremendous savings in time. |

SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS |
| Memory is important when moving digital images. You will need a minimum of 64MB RAM (128MB is recommended) and no less than a 20GB hard drive. You monitor should be at least 17" and capable of handling 1024x768 resolution with 72MHZ scan rate and 24-bit or higher color. Color calibration capability is helpful. The ProShots viewer software is Windows compatible only. While it can be run with Windows emulation software such as Soft Windows or Virtual PC, we strongly suggest a dedicated IBM compatible computer. The software itself is totally free of charge and we are certain the many advantages you will find with this software will outweigh the small investment for the PC. |
| The tutorial provided on the FREE CD with the software is audio/visual, so we recommend an inexpensive set of speakers. You will probably want the speakers in order to fully utilize the slide show benefit with ProShots. |
| ProShots Digital offers the opportunity for you to order most products from our Price List while taking advantage of the time saving ProShots viewer software. Print sizes available are billfold through 20x30. Digital retouching is easy to order and you can get a color, black & white, or sepia print from the same negative! Studio and personalized logo are a snap to order and you can even position them on the image yourself. |
| We will store your film for 120 days and then return it to your studio in roll form. It is extremely importrant that your orders are placed prior to that time. ProShots services are available for up to 120 days from date of processing. |
